以孙昌茵、冯玉薇、蔡葵、左晋、卓晓光、李茂春、王世永、张平、石甫、任娅等10位加拿大老、中、青华侨华人艺术家创作的10幅绘画、1幅书法为主题,题材横跨东西方、穿越万年时空的艺术交流活动,于今日晚上在多伦多艺术和数字俱乐部举行。
美国科学期刊《自然》网站于2018年9月12日发表了来自南非的一篇报道,题目为《南非布隆伯斯洞穴发现7.3万年前的抽象绘画》,把人类早期绘画史推前到7万多年前,而在科技日新月异飞速发展的今天,互联网技术已经进入3.0时代,非同质化通证–区块链网络里具有唯一性特点的可信数字权益凭证NFT(Non-Fungible Token)的广泛应用,则为人类绘画等各种艺术品的收藏、交易、投资开辟了经济和艺术影响力的新平台和新媒介。艺术和NFT相遇,艺术穿越人类科技的伟大时空,由加拿大华人画家、小提琴家、NFT技术实践者庞志廉主讲的《艺术品NFT技术的运用》也是本次艺术交流活动的另一个重要话题。

崎岖多变的山峦,屹立在浪花飞扬的海岸上,近处的浪花不时地涌上沙滩,相互追逐嬉戏着,撞击着礁石,仿佛能听见浪花轻轻拍打岩石的声音。冯玉薇以山为依托,错落有致地与美丽壮观的风景相结合,产生了一种十分独特的视觉感觉,令人叹为观止。该作品参加美国第三届国际风景艺术大赛,荣获HONORABLE MENTION奖。

风景创作除题材之外主要是在追求形式,追求画面的灵动性和张力关系。画家选择向日葵有潜意识的存在,有对向日葵性格的冲动。
向日葵顾名思义向着太阳生长,这是它秩序性的特点,由于方向的一致性画面容易出现呆板的情况;而油画《向日葵》的画面秩序是在运动中建立的,强调画面布局结构和视觉张力关系,忽略向日葵的方向性一致性的秩序,追求花头百态,构建艺术的次序;画面上,向日葵有盛开的,也有近凋零的,这种布局实际上增加了时间感回味的意味。画家在艺术创作中注重画面的生态、动态、姿态,打破常规,别具一格。

左晋分享《互相》
这幅作品画面用了三个层次来表达主题,第一层用底色描绘了远古消失的恐龙等生物以及那个早已经毁灭的旧地球,从古到今,把时间距离拉开了。
第二层画了一个抽象的人物头像,回顾远古消失的世界和一切,今天的人类应该感到庆幸。
第三层又画了一个头像,微笑的眼和嘴。一个蓝色的眼和一个红色的眼,一个蓝色的嘴和一个红色的嘴。蓝色和红色隐喻不同的智慧、人、性别、性格等等。或许一个人是孤独的,但我们不仅仅是一个人,我们还有同类,还有彼此,人类应该相互依赖,共同生存,生生不息。
尽管这幅作品创作于2016年,正是今天疫情流行、风云变幻、波诡云谲的国际背景下,对人类合作、相互关爱、携手前行的期盼。地球和人类,人类和彼此,从古到今,时空跨越,令人唏嘘,令人沉思。作品用简单的色彩和抽象的构图讲述了复杂的、跨越种族、国界、物种和时空关系,启示着人类进化的未来。

卓晓光分享《亘古》
Muskoka 在加拿大多伦多以北一百多公里的地方,这里森林广茂,大小湖泊星布其间,是白求恩故居之地,也是加拿大七人画派(Group of Seven)足迹之地。形色各异的岩石藏身林中湖畔,也有因道路的建设而开山劈石,山岩展现出别样的形态,无意地雕刻出人类的痕迹,传述说着不同的故事,被切割而坚硬的棱角和原始园润的表面组合起来像是一个个被不经意创作的岩石肖像。
冬去春来,恒古地矗立在那儿守望着时光,画家被这岩像深深吸引驻足,并将它们一一呈现笔下,画家独爱这岩石,周边的一切秀丽似乎都不再重要。

人与人沟通在于心灵间的相互感同,沟通源于五感,五感透过不同媒介传达,美食通过味觉,花香通过嗅觉,美景经由视觉,诗人、作家由字里行间而至心灵,音乐将乐符成曲,画家则呈现画作于人视觉相通。
绘画是视觉艺术的一员,视觉的冲击使观者有所共鸣,表达方式与承接深浅因个体千面万化。
作品醉心于人自身的律动美,人体的协调美,动态美,相骨美,肤色美,情感内心外泄于表的美都是画家入画的猎物,画家由眼而心去感受,以画笔捕捉呈现于作品中,让观者体验共鸣。
画家执着于或人为或天然而成的律动,对画家而言,律动有色彩黑白,有构成块面,有线条坚柔。城市风景这一系列作品是画家对人为的律动有感而发,它展现历史留痕,展现城市呼吸,色彩,光影,线条律动交织,每座城市每道风景都有它独特的情怀,希望观众透过画作的视觉感受去感悟。

《悲壮之魂》山水画,在造型、构图、笔墨等绘画语言及内涵上,既运用了中国画技法等元素,又在画面中体现出光感、体积、光线形象、空间布白等美感,有传承更有创新。
细品这张作品,中西融合,画面具有强烈的震撼力,有一种苍茫、神秘、悲壮之美的生命精神力量,哲思、文化、灵魂之内涵。画面中点、线、面构成,诗情画意,笔墨灵动,空白处希望之光在水面绽放。
此作品,选取安省奥沙华湖滩一场面,岸边许多被风暴摧残、倾倒的枯木苍凉而顽强,盘根错节却有力量。

Soul of Tragedy is a landscape painting. In terms of painting language and connotation, such as shape, composition, brush and ink, Mr Wang is not only using Chinese painting techniques and its elements, but also reflects the sense of light, volume, light image, space white and other beauty in the picture. This artwork selects a scene from a lake beach in Oshawa, Ontario Canada, where many intertwined dead trees devastated and dumped by the storm are desolate and tenacious, but they are very powerful.

《洛矶初春》,表现加拿大落基山脉初春的景色,蓝天白云下躺着寂静的山峦和湖泊,残雪消融在阳光之下,嫩绿带着鹅黄的植物已经展现出初春的景象。画家用中国画的画具和颜料以及表现技法,画在自己制作的有宣纸效果的油画布上,这是画家在洛基山写生的作品。
画家的根脉吸吮中华文化的营养,中国绘画的水墨淋漓的意味,矿物颜料和植物颜料的特殊表现特征,其次是画家处在加拿大多元文化的营养中,艺术生命得到了更加丰富的滋养,多元文化在绘画艺术中相遇,碰撞,融合,成长……,画家的画中,融合了西画的绘画技法和画材,试图用更宽泛的材料和技法寻找更广泛的接受者。画家这个阶段创作主要倾向于对艺术语言的探索。

“Early Spring in the Rocky Mountains” shows the scenery of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in early spring. Under the blue sky and white clouds lie silent mountains and lakes. The residual snow melts under the sun, and the green and light yellow plants have appeared. The scene of early spring. Artist uses Chinese painting tools, pigments and expressive techniques, and paint on her own canvas with the effect of rice paper. This is her sketching work in the Rocky Mountains.
In her paintings, first of all, her root veins absorb the nutrition of Chinese culture, the dripping meaning of Chinese painting, the special performance characteristics of mineral pigments and plant pigments, and secondly, when she is in the nutrition of Canadian multiculturalism, Her artistic life has been nourished more abundantly.

2019年,书画家应邀为在韩国全州举办的“第12届世界书艺双年展”(道 & 气)主题而创作。
虽然中国是书法的故乡,但是,韩国率先取得了举办世界性书艺双年展的主办权,并成为全球最高专业级别的书法双年展。也被喻为专业书法家角逐的擂台。
书画家用意象艺术手法,解构“道艺”二字的通常字法,以“国画”构图形式、颠覆上下题款位置,用太极意象S型营造“气”势、象征“道&气”。让构图呈S状态与动势。书画家自撰诗句:“鸿鹄游韩国 神龙聚全州 艺道且双楫 云天一沙鸥”题上款;且在黑白二处关键之处盖上自刻的印章。力求形成“诗书画印”四位一体的文人画风范。
此作被展会权威专家认为:融“诗、书、画、印”于一炉,既继承了传统书法的笔墨精华,又有当代艺术构成意识的创意。是书法艺术国际化的典范之作。
《道艺》( Art of light)
2015年11月13日与14日凌晨,法国巴黎及其北郊圣但尼发生连续恐怖袭击事件。袭击事件共造成来自26个国家(包括1名中国公民)的127人当场遇难,3人到院后不治身亡,80-99人重伤,368人受伤。其中巴塔克兰剧院的观众被恐怖分子挟持为人质,造成89人死亡。另外案发当时有7名袭击者拒捕并以炸弹自杀,法国政府随后继续开展追查帮凶的行动。
袭击事件始于欧洲中部时间11月13日21时20分,3名自杀式炸弹袭击者袭击了位于圣但尼的法兰西体育场附近,随后巴黎的咖啡馆、餐馆及音乐场所发生自杀式炸弹袭击和大规模枪击。恐怖组织伊斯兰国(IS)宣布对此事件负责,并称这是为了报复法国在叙利亚和伊拉克对IS目标的空袭。法国时任总统弗朗索瓦·奥朗德称这次袭击是IS组织策划于叙利亚、组织于比利时并与其法国同谋实施的战争行为。
11月的袭击是法国自二战以来最严重的恐怖袭击事件,也是欧盟自2004年马德里三一一连环爆炸案以来最严重的恐怖袭击事件。2022年6月29日,法国巴黎司法宫特别法庭针对2015年参与者做出判决,20名被告均被判有罪。
书画家于当夜创作这幅作品,天问信仰为何?自问、他问、天问, Who I Am? 正如《圣经》里天神答道:I am who I am (道就是神)。于是,书画家以篆书“衟”(道)字为构成符号,籍用法国纳比画派(Nabis,1890-1900)祖师保罗·高更(Paul Gauguin,1848—1903,代表作品有《我们从何处来?我们是谁?我们向何处去? 》的象征手法、以二调三原色平涂,将太极之道和太初(神)之道东西二道归一。表达了书画家对“道” 的信念。作品呈现出️自问、他问、天问 、“我是谁?我从哪里来?我到那里去?”的人性拷问的意象,期盼引起观者共鸣,而扪心自问!

《广场一隅》2013年入选加拿大圣约翰皇家剧院百年庆典的美术展。也是唯一入围的女性画家。画家站在剧院二楼看窗外景色,当时正值秋天,枫叶正红,景色怡人,百年剧院与门口的小广场交相辉映,成为当地地标性建筑,吸引很多游客观光,本幅作品中西合壁,色彩斑斓,令观众杳然漫步在丹青里。画家旅居加拿大多年,在传统国画技法的基础上,大胆尝试把西画的技法融于画面,让笔下彩绘花鸟具有勃勃生机,艳而不俗,以期达到真臻艳雅的境界。

艺术家简介:
孙昌茵
孙昌茵,加拿大华人画家,毕业于清华大学美术学院油画研究生班。他早年创作的《铁头英雄》,《白蛇传》,《中国诗歌》等,都被列为中国连环画珍藏品。1988年移民加拿大,曾任职加拿大多伦多美术学院院长,现为加拿大中国美术家协会副主席、加拿大当代艺术院创会会长,受聘纽约世界艺术研究院(油画雕塑院)研究员。
获奖作品:
1990年,大型壁画《天鹅湖》获加拿大政府 “卓越画作” 殊荣。
2008年,创作的三联油画《百年华工艰辛路》作品被温哥华博物馆收藏, 并获国家邮政局印制邮票首日封提名。
2013年, 为中国驻加拿大多伦多大使馆签证大厅创作大型白描壁画《中国文化五千年》获加拿大政府移民局五年一度突出贡献奖。
2015年, 油画作品《飘、浮》获法国大皇宫艺术沙龙展并获油画金奖。
2019年, 油画《穿越时空》系列荣获加拿大国会议员艺术创作金奖。

Chang Yin Sun is a well-known Chinese Canadian painter. He graduated from the oil painting postgraduate
class of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. Since immigrating to Canada in 1988, he has served
as the dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in Toronto, Canada. Now, he is the vice chairman of the Chinese
Artists Association in Canada, the founding chairman of the Canadian Academy of Contemporary Art, and a
researcher of the “World Art Institute – Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute” in New York.
Awards:
In 1990, the large-scale mural “Swan Lake” was awarded the “Excellent Painting” award by the Canadian
government.
In 2008, the three-part oil painting “The Road of Blood and Tears of a Century of Chinese Workers”
was collected by the Vancouver Museum and nominated for the first day cover of stamps printed
by the State Post Bureau.
In 2013, he created a large-scale line drawing mural “Five Thousand Years of Chinese Culture” for the
Chinese Embassy in Toronto, Canada and won the five-year Outstanding Contribution Award by
the Canadian Government Immigration Service.
In 2015, the oil painting “Float” won the gold medal in the French Grand Palais Art Salon Exhibition.
In 2019, the oil painting “Through Time and Space” won the Gold Award for Canadian
Parliamentarians’ Artistic Creation.
In 2020, the oil painting “Distant” won the National Artists Association Oil Painting and Acrylic
Creation Excellence Award.
In 2021,the oil painting “Save Our Homeland” won the Special Award of the 11th International Animal Art
Awards in the United States.
The abstract painting “Untitled” won the Excellence Award at the National Gallery of Art’s
International Abstract Exhibition.
The oil painting “One Leaf Knows Autumn” won the International Bronze Award of the American Oil
Painting and Acrylic Association.
In 2022, the oil painting “Our Friends” won the bronze medal in the Amazing Animals 2022 International Visual Arts Exhibition held by the American Camelback Gallery.
冯玉薇
冯玉薇,加拿大华人画家,曾先后在中国北京工艺美术学院、北京中央美术学院进修深造。自1988年移民加拿大以来,一直致力于油画肖像画及风景画创作。
她的作品细腻、写实、富有生活自然的真实感,表现手法别具风格,屡获行家和观众的赞赏。

YuWei Feng is a well-known Chinese Canadian painter . She once studied at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
Since immigrating to Canada in 1988, she has insisted on the creation of portraits, landscapes and other painting arts and art teaching. Her art works have participated in many international
large-scale art exhibitionsand won many awards. Her artworks are delicate, realistic, and full of life with her personal painting style and unique characteristics. They have been repeatedly
appreciated by art peers and viewers.

“Morning Makeup” – Portrait painting participated in the 2nd World Chinese Art Painting and
Calligraphy Exhibition held in Beijing,China and won the “Excellent Work Award”.

蔡葵,教授(退休)。五十年代生于中国山东青岛,1980年就读青岛大学美术学院,1984年毕业留校,从事艺术教育30年,期间1986年入中央工艺美术学院全国首届助教进修班;中国美术家协会会员,加拿大OSA协会会员,加拿大油画学会会长。

蔡葵的人物画,善于情感表现,力图透过人物的表象去感受本真。虽然时而西风瘦马,时而荷叶田田,但他那对人物心理动态与神情的把握,那瞬间的动容,就像优雅的堇色,明亮而温柔。

Cai Kui’s portrait paintings excel at expressing human emotions, and begs the audience to discern deeper truths about the subject matter. His superb grasp of instantaneous human expressions reveals unusual emotional depths about his subjects of portrayal.
His landscape paintings convey a certain emotional transference between people and nature, with the overarching theme being the serenity and tenacity of life, both in prosperous and waning times. We are treated to snapshots of nature through the artist’s unique appreciation of nature and its changing seasons. With his daring composition and expert brushstrokes that betray “freehand brush work” techniques commonly used in traditional Chinese water painting, Cai Kui breaks the rules of perspective to compose a temporal realm on canvas that extrudes the rich rhythm of life. 左晋,加拿大华人艺术家。1968年生于河北南戴河之滨,自幼酷爱绘画,曾研修于中央美术学院,2012年联合众多艺术家创立加拿大中华艺术协会并出任会长,同年被相关机构授予“中加文化交流使者”。现任加拿大ICAN Arts 艺术馆艺术总监、C9 画廊首席艺术家、North York C9 ARTS Academy首席艺术顾问。
左晋作品多关注种族、哲学、人性、风景等众多题材,作品以超现实主义的手法重新诠释了绘画艺术的魅力和强烈的视觉冲击力!多次被全球主流艺术媒体详细报道,其代表作品《肤色》在美国参展期间引起强烈社会反响和关注,《有色眼镜》系列成为2017年多伦多十大新闻事件之一。千呎巨幅油画《海》为目前为止最大的主题作品。并为2008年奥运会,2020年冬奥会官方创作多幅巨幅馆藏作品。举办温哥华/多伦多左晋个人画展、左晋&凯诺双人联展、左晋& Paul Gosen 双人联展、纽约当代艺术巡展、陆上与海上丝绸之路国际(北京)展等多个国际艺术专业展,其作品多次获奖并被国际各大艺术机构及个人收藏。左晋先生多年来一直献拍画作支持慈善事业,因此他本人也被评选为美丽中国的十大慈善艺术家。

Zuo Jin was born in Hebei Province in China and has been a passionate painter since childhood. He is currently the Artistic Director of ICAN Arts Canada, Principal Artist of C9 Gallery, Principal Artistic Advisor of North York C9 ARTS Academy.
Zuo Jin’s works mostly focus on race, philosophy, human nature, landscape and many other subjects, and his works reinterpret the charm and strong visual impact of painting art with surrealist techniques! Many times reported in detail by the global mainstream art media, his representative work “Skin Color” caused strong social reactions and concerns during the exhibition in the United States, and the series “Colored Glasses” became one of the top ten news events in Toronto in 2017. The thousand-foot giant oil painting “Sea” is the largest thematic work so far. And for the 2008 Olympic Games, the 2020 Winter Olympics official creation of a number of giant pavilion works. Mr. Zuo Jin has held many international art exhibitions, such as the Vancouver/Toronto Solo Exhibition, Zuo Jin & Kaino Group Exhibition, Zuo Jin & Paul Gosen Group Exhibition, New York Contemporary Art Tour, and the Land and Sea Silk Road International (Beijing) Exhibition, etc. His works have won many awards and been collected by international art institutions and individuals. 天赐神功,只凭意念,不用显微镜,能在寿山石上以头发之微,刻五千多字金刚径,被誉为"圣手神雕"。 作品曾被美国前总统里根、书画篆刻大师韩天衡等名人、专家收藏。

Jenz Shifu

Shifu i School CEO
Shifu is Chinese Canadian. In 1993, his artwork was selected to exhibit by China’s top ranked biennales, and collected by a significant gallery in China, that has also been published. 1993 was also the year he immigrated to Canada.
Shifu’s distinctive skills in micro-engraving is not produced by any magnifying instrument, only solely dependant on intuition to directly engrave over 5000 characters on a surface as small and narrow as a piece of human hair. Many researchers call Shifu “The Magical Hand, A Divine Sculptor.”
Shifu’s iconographic artwork is a new concept of art, it is always in a simple color tone and composition but it has meaningful thoughts behind it. He likes to characterize the lives in microcosmic world in an iconographic way. It intensively reveals humanity and leaves a thoughtful message. With more than forty years of calligraphy study and practice, Shifu uses black and white and three primary colors as a sensational element in his work. He uses the Majiayao pottery brush color painting techniques of cloud and water that dates back over 5000 years. He combines the theory of Yin Yang from the East with the ideas of spiritual cosmos found in the West in his art concept.
Shifu defines his innovative art style as “Iconography”. It is a non-figurative art influence by the symbolism of Paul Gauguin, the mystery of the father of abstraction Wassily Kandinsky, the purity of Piet Mondrian, the abstraction of Franz Kline and the free style of Jackson Pollock. Shifu’s work combines the aesthetics, philosophy and theology together. He twists or deconstructs the visual object, emphasizing the concept and activating the icon to allow the viewers to avoid the illusions that created by figure and form. The viewer is standing on a higher level to see the real universe, seeking the truth of the world, and recognize who we really are.
Shifu’s artwork has been regarded internationally by audiences in all realms of society, it was collected by former US President Ronald Reagan, as well as many other international celebrities. His work has auctioned in the Ritchies Auctioneers and Four Seasons Auctioneers and has also appeared in Oakville and Montreal Galleries. Shifu’s book “The Word in Art” has been collected by the Mississauga Central Library and the East Asian Library of the University of Toronto.
Despite the fact that Shifu is a contemporary artist, he’s dedicated to volunteering in the community of art. He has held art seminars and exhibitions in Beijing, Chengdu, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Florence, Milano, New York, Tokyo, Gwangju, amongst other places. Currently, Shifu has been curating art exhibitions in Canada, Europe, and China. He is President of Canada Contemporary Art Alliance.He has been invited to demonstrate and give speeches at University of Toronto, Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Centre of Mississauga and Museum of Markham Ontario Canada.

王世永,博士、 教授。加拿大皇家美术学院院长,北京师范大学加拿大校友会副会长,大西洋美术家协会副会长,加拿大中国国家书画院常务副院长,北美艺术家协会副会长、加东分会会长。
1963年出生于中国山东济南,先后就读于中国美术学院(国画专业)、 东南大学艺术设计学(硕士) 、北京师范大学(博士)。

张平,字智庸。教授, 北京师范大学博士。出生在山东,长期在杭州工作,来加拿大之前在中国高校教书三十多年,曾担任浙江大学城市学院艺术学院院长、城市景观设计院院长。来加拿大约十年,先是在多伦多三年,又在温哥华三年,现在回到多伦多又有三年了。平时喜欢安安静静地看书,画画,目前主要从事绘画创作和教学。
Dr. Ping, Zhang, social name Zhi Yong, was born in Shandong Province in China. She had been teaching in a university in Hangzhou city for more than 30 years before coming to Canada, where she served as the dean of the School of Art and the Design Institute. She has been in Canada for about ten years, first in Toronto for three years, then in Vancouver for three years, and now she has been back in Toronto for another three years. She loves reading and painting quietly, currently she is mainly engaged in creative painting and tutoring.
任娅
任娅,中国国画艺术家,于2005年通过中国ZSQ9000A艺术体系资质认证,被授予中国国画家称号。国家一级美术师。
任娅现为中国美协云南分会会员、昆明市美术家协会会员,中国书画艺术研究会会员,中国书画协会会员。加拿大中国文化艺术研究所研究员,加拿大文物与艺术研究基金会会长(2019.11-2021.12), 大西洋文化交流协会美协会长等。
任娅先后于2012年5月在云南省图书馆举办个人画展; 2013年7月受加拿大NewBrunswick文化部文化中心邀请举办个人画展,接受加拿大国家电台CBC个人专访。参加圣约翰皇家剧院百年庆典的美术展。其作品《广场》成为唯一入选的华人女性画家。20 14年参加蒙特利尔九鼎俱乐部的拍卖艺术品,她将幅画作《紫气东来》拍卖所得全部用来支持中国留学生。2016年参加韩国国际艺术展获国画铜奖,2016年在加拿大参加龙韵国际艺术节,获花鸟画金奖。2017年多伦多第二届国际艺术节获花鸟精品金奖,2017年在多伦多和加拿大著名画家迈克尔•简森( Michael Janzen )举办《东边•西边飞韵流彩》二人画展,2017年《任娅国画集.翰墨凝香》出版。任娅曾多次参加各种画展获奖,入选制作抗战胜利中国名画家纪念邮册,2018年瀚墨卿风国际艺术展获卓越水墨金奖,文化艺术传承奖。2018年入展加拿大麦克马克艺术馆“McMichael Canadian Art Collection: Canadian Art Gallery” ,画作获金奖。2019年11月,在多伦多举办个人画展,参展作品80幅。2022年4月15日在多伦多举办墨彩映辉个人画展,参展作品40幅,20 22年10月,组织学生30人,作品120件,在多伦多举办任娅师生画展。任娅多年来一直致力于中西方文化艺术交流,是一位有思想,有情怀,有潜力的中国国画艺术家。
Ya Ren once studied under Chinese renowned painter of the contemporary artist: Zhusan Hu, Vice-chairman of China Modern National Artists Association, Master Zhusan Hu himself is a disciple from the legendary lineage of Baishi Qi, the most influential artist in China’s contemporary and modern art history. Ya Ren also studied from Jiangdong Sun, the most famous Chinese painter, and Pu Zhou, the famous Chinese landscape painter. Mrs.Ya is a certified “Master Chinese Painter (GuoHuaJia)” under the ZSQ9000A National Arts Certification system in 2005. She holds membership in several Chinese Art Associations, including the China Painting & Calligraphy Art Association, China Caligraphy and Painting Art Institute for Research, the Kunming Artists Association.
Mrs.Ya was invited to present several solo exhibitions and auction in China including the major one in June 2012 in Yunnan library; In July 2013, she was invited by the cultural center of New Brunswick culture department to hold a personal art exhibition; Receive individual interview by CBC, Canada’s national TV station; As the only Chinese painter invited, attend the art exhibition of St. John’s royal theater’s centennial celebration. In 2016, She participated in Korean international art exhibition and won the bronze prize of traditional Chinese painting. In 2016, she participated in the dragon art festival in Canada and won the gold prize of flower and bird painting.
She participated in the Canada “Han Mo Qing Feng” International Art Exhibition and won the gold award of ink and wash painting. In 2017, she won the gold award of flower and bird in the second Canada international art festival. In 2017, she held the painting exhibition of “East and west flying rhyme and color” with Michael Jansen, a well known Canadian painter.
The collection of Ya Ren’s national paintings was also published in Canada.
The painting was selected by the general post office of China to make commemorative stamps and coins to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese aggression and the world anti-fascist war. In 2017, her painting was selected again by China Post as the 19th-anniversary stamp of the communist party of China, which was released nationwide.
In 2018, HanmoQingfeng International Art Exhibition won the Gold Award for Outstanding Ink Painting and the Cultural and Art Inheritance Award. In 2018, he participated in the exhibition “McMichael Canadian Art Collection: Canadian Art Gallery” at the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery and won a gold medal. In November 2019, a solo exhibition was held in Toronto. 80 works are exhibited. On April 15, 2022, a solo exhibition of Mo Cai Yinghui will be held in Toronto, with 40 works on display
Currently, Mrs.Ya is a member of China art association Yunnan branch, Kunming artists association, China painting and calligraphy art research association member, and China painting and calligraphy association member. She is also the vice president of the Canadian Heritage Research Foundation(2019.11—2021.12),deputy secretary general of Atlantic culture and art exchange association, etc.
During her more than 20 years of studying and drawing career, her excellent works of literature and acclaimed countrywide, her painting style such as : spring on the mountain, wisteria on the yard, peony gorgeous in the courtyard, lotus fragrance, pure and fresh, the sketch of the sweep themes, is embodied in the brush, pride in shyness, the dignity in wealth, calmness in movement, alacrity feelings ,all these themes highlight the painter’s style. By living in Canada for further studying, Mrs.Ya is combining the North American vast atmosphere, the romance temperament of snow state, her painting has her unique style with fresh and elegance!
庞志廉
庞志廉,又名登峰居士,画家、小提琴家,出生于苏州评弹世家。他从12岁开始绘画,出国前是上海某艺术乐团专业小提琴手。1986年移居加拿大。作为海外华人,他从未放弃过中国书画。 他认为,没有什么能比得上中国书法的博大精深和光彩夺目。 他近年来专注于把诗书画作品以NFT形式展现给互联网世界更广大的读者群和收藏家。
Arden Pang, AKA Deng-feng Hermit has been engaged in painting for a living since he was 12 years old and move to Canada in 1986. As a Chinese descendant, he has never given up on Chinese calligraphy and painting. He believes that nothing can compare with the profoundness and dazzling of Chinese calligraphy. There is Chinese calligraphy in his paintings, and he always maintains the use of “Calligraphy contains painting, painting contains poetry, and poetry perform a story”.
